Description
Memorandum dated April 1, 1970, from the Registrar of Companies, Victoria, British Columbia, to Gurdev Singh Gill, Khalsa Diwan Society, Vancouver, notifying that the organization is not in good standing, as it has failed to file annual reports for the years 1964 to 1970. To restore its status, the society is instructed to submit the missing reports along with the required filing fees. Attached is a letter from the Khalsa Diwan Society to the Department of National Revenue, Ottawa, dated July 2, 1968, signed by Gurdev Singh Gill, apologizing for the delayed submission and enclosing the financial report for the society’s fiscal year 1967, followed by a list of donors and their contributions. The memorandum concludes with an empty page with the Khalsa Diwan Society’s letterhead that may have served as a cover or placeholder for additional correspondence.
