Report Titled, "A Report to the Secretary of State on A Series of Teacher Participation Workshops on Specific Attitude Change and Values Education Strategies for Improving Understanding Among Ethnic Groups" by John W. Kehoe, Ph. D., Associate Professor, Faculty of Education, University of the British Columbia. The report was on the five workshops supported by the Prairie Regional Office of the Secretary of State, along with the Departments of Education from Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba in Spring, 1976, to promote tolerance toward culturally diverse groups in Canada. The workshops were advertised using a brochure (Appendix A) and had 118 participants, including teachers and human rights officers. Participants received materials during the workshops (Appendix B), with live demonstrations of various strategies to enhance cultural acceptance. Appendix C contains a questionnaire to evaluate the workshops' effectiveness and Appendix D highlights a province-wide project based on the workshop outcomes called as, "The Teacher Awareness of Stereotyping in Classrooms (TASC)" project.
