Description
Scrapbook titled, Vancouver Island logging and industrial railroads, compiled by John [?]. The selected pages include a photograph, flyer, and text describing the locomative, Mayo Lumber No 3. It's considered to be the first super-heated steam logging locomative in BC. It was built at Lima, Ohio, for Mayo Lumber Company and brought to the Paldi operation in May 1925 where it remained in service until 1950.
