Description
Event brochure for Kalpalatha Filteau, a dance and drama concert showcasing Indian classical dances of Bharata Natyam and Kuchipudi by Kalpalatha Filteau and a drama, "Devi Durga" directed by Rubena Sinha, scheduled for 5th May, 1979 at the Winnipeg Art Gallery Auditorium. Programme details with sequence and description of events are provided, followed by descriptions of involved artists, Kalpalatha Filteau, Sarasi Raj and Rubena Sinha. The programme is organized as Project 79 by PALI (Performing Arts and Literatures of India), a committee formed to conduct a project of dance-instruction and news broadcasts related to India. Members of the committee are Ganga B. Dakshinamurti M.L.S., B.K. Kale Ph.D., R.M. Mathur Ph.D., E.C. Moulton Ph.D. and Uma Parameswaran Ph.D. (Project Director).
