Description
Handwritten notes on the book, "The Orientals in Canada" written by S. S. Osterhout in 1929 on the story of the United Church of Canada. The book was published in Toronto by Ryerson Press. The notes highlight the working nature of South Asian Immigrants and, the attitudes of Sikh Immigrants, especially those connected to the Komagata Maru Incident, on religious conversion in missionary churches.
