Description
Harji Sangra, who worked for the Canadian Farmworkers' Union (CFU), recalls doing farmwork with her mother as a child during summers. Her father proudly worked in a union sawmill. Harji's mother was injured along with several other farmworkers and struggled to receive disability benefits. This clip is from a full-length interview conducted by Dr. Anushay Malik on behalf of the BC Labour Heritage Centre's "Union Zindabad!" Project, 2021.
